I don't see why staccato can't just expand their custom pistol builder. Example, you'd build your pistol from the ground up. 1. Start with grip. P grip, C2 grip, or "X" grip etc. 2. Chose if you want a magwell. 3.Then go to frame. Aluminum, Steel, and have lengths for dust covers. Obviously only certain lengths will work with certain slides etc. 4.

The trigger could certainly be a little lighter and I replaced the recoil master with a Dawson tooless guide rod, mainly because the RM is a birth to remove with the FLDC. If you could get a staccato at msrp it's totally worth it. At 3.5-4k?? Save up another 2k and get an atlas or at that price point get a Phoenix Trinity h-tac or h-duty which is roster exempt via single shot exemption. It's insane that people want 7-8k for a staccato XC, just get an Erebus if you're paying that much. Also single shot exempt.

It depends how patient you are or how badly you need the gun. I would anticipate waiting at least 3-4 months for your gun to ship if you don’t use the fast track option. If you don’t want to wait that long and have the cash to spend, then it would be worth it.
