I suppose that ISN’T necessary from a functional standpoint, but always helps to keep your equipment clean and free of carbon. NeTx.

Hello All, Just getting back into IDPA after about 5 years hiatus and have been researching the use of my C2 for IDPA. I have the version with the threaded barrel, have the higher stock "tactical sights" and am running a Trijicon SRO and is otherwise "stock".
The SRO has outstanding glass clarity compared to the RMR, but yes the trade off is durability. For carry, especially if you're gonna conceal it, the RMR is the way to go. I had to remove my SRO from my 2011's. I keep having issues of empty casings stove piping under the lip of the SRO and the breach.Trijicon.
