Thinking about a Glock 30S or a Shield .45 2.0. I have mags and holsters for both. Have carried a 30 before, and a Shield 9 Plus, so pretty familiar. Both about the same size, clearly the Glock is a little thicker and the Shield under and inch in width. The Glock has the advantage of taking G21 mags for backup. Grip is better on the Shield.You really need to fondle both guns. I bought the G36 having handled all 3--36, 30S and 30. What good is a narrow slide if the frame is still wide. The HST was almost as good with the best group being about 2.5 inches. The PMC bronze 230 gr ball and Winchester Ranger were almost identical with both groups averaging just a tad over 2.5 inches. I like the grip better than the Glock, it fits my hand better, and I can shoot it better.
