With a focus on energy and shields you can probably beat it around 20k. #2. I attacked with with 10K station, and 20K fleets and did no damage at all. This really sucks when you play on Iron Man Steps to reproduce the issue. War is inevitable in Stellaris. Even the most pacifist of empires will need a military to defend themselves from the dangers the galaxy has in store for them. Lucky for us, war is simple in Stellaris. Empires throw fleets at each other until one side emerges victorious. The victorious empire is often the one with the best fleet composition.20-30-40k something in that range. On the save that these screenshots were taken I had defeated an Ether Drake, the Scrapbot, and Shard. Both the drake and the scrapbot were defeated by my two stealth fleets, gotta love stealth and torpedoes. When it came to Shard, I had a bastion with a number of defense platforms that all used torps.Shard Grand Dragon. you need 20k Fleet. but if you attack with your entire Fleet you will loose a lot of ships, and the AI is programmed to attack you if yyour fleet is greatly reduced, so you need way more than 20k to ensure AI doesnt activate against you when you attack.
