S-10 to V8 Conversion Advice. Just thought I would write some info I have learned over the last 2 years of owning a v8 s-10. First off, I did not do the origional conversion on my truck, but I did swap engines and made some upgrades. The most important upgrade was the fuel pump.

The only time you have to do this is if your truck had a 4 cylinder. Mine had a 4 cylinder so I had to run down to the salvage yard and pick up some V6 frame mounts so that the conversion mounts would mount up.
