But, this addition does not lessen the price for a shooter/refurb SKS. The four U.S. Russian Simonov importer's marks are CDI, NHM, KBI and CAI, and are more discreetly added to the receiver in that order. Simonov’s first noteworthy design was the AVS-36 (Avtomaticheskaya Vintovka Simonova 1936, or Simonov’s Semi-Automatic Rifle, Model of 1936). This was a 10-pound selective-fire battle rifle that held a 20-round detachable magazine.
