Take the overflow bottle bolt out, take the bolt holding the mastercylinder off and move it back a little. Take a tie down strap and run it from the subframe to the handlebars. Cinch it up snug. Next pull out the two lower bolts holding the subframe and gently lift it up a few inches by tightening up the tie strap.

I read somewhere this needn't to be changed and there are other peeps changing it frequently. I'll change it anyway as it's cheap and won't hurt. 4) Install PC fans with a manual switch.The FCR is a carb built to be fast and reliable, for all kinds of bike, but you have to re-jet. This has been made fairly easy on the FCR, so with some practice it should be an easy job. The DRZ E came with this carb, so the engine does well with it. I had to modify the throttle cable housing on the fcr to accept the 400ex cable, took about 10 minutes with a dremel, very easy.
