Lesson learned!!!! I rented a car for 4/26/24-4/28/24, from NU Car Rental in Charlotte, SC. Per my Rental agreement booked on Expedia I was to pay $105.19 at the time of pick up. Upon my pick up, I was told they required insurance that covered up to $60,000 and I only had $50, 000 and was told I had to pay $180.Within a few minutes, my rental jumped from $36.10 to $196.55! This pricing difference left me feeling swindled and aggravated. After speaking to my insurance agent, he also confirmed that he has never had an issue utilizing this insurance with a car rental company.
