I haven't personally used the pregmate ones but I haven't heard good things about their line progression and looking at pictures from others it certainly looks like slow progress on these tests I relate to your worries about the doctor. Most test will dry with absolutely nothing, stark white or with test line barriers but no color if negative. ONE DRAW BACK: Do not use this test for progression.
