I would watch the condition of the paint and if you see it stating to go bad, can always scuff it with 400 wet or dry and clear coat it. Likely won't need it. 22george. Hey guys, recently painted my mates 63 pontiac. Being his first ever project, he purchashed ice blue nason full-thane. Sprayed it on sunday, came up alright for a metallic, a little streaky. I have used ful thane by Nason and found it a very good economical paint. I have used different clear on it with no ill effects. Each painter has his own methods for cutting and buffing.
