I am also getting the same issue. i started a new game and i put down my resource storage 1 building in the wrong place by accident and now I get the same message when trying to remove (destroy) it with a hammer. I have tried to take all items out of any storage I have which is just my house storage but same message. #1.

The well worker will take empty buckets/waterskins from either the resource storage or the well's storage, and put the full buckets/waterskins in the food storage. The "settings" mean the building settings, how many they produce per day. The amount of production multipli with tool consumtion per work is the total durability use. And the material of tools set the durability. With this numbers you can calculate how many tools your villager need.
