John deere 1780 planter problems.
Jan 24, 2014 · We had 1780 12/23 that we used for beans only for quite a while and it did a fine job, for the money that they are asking for them I think it would be a good move for a bean only planter. We traded our 1780 and a 16 row 1770 recently for a 1790 16-31. I think they are asking somewhere between 25 and 30 for the 1780.
Posted December 8, 2005. I ran a 7200 and a 1750 6 row vacuum planter with a 6300 Deere tractor, ran the vacuum off Power Beyond, and the lift and markers were on seperate valves. To load and haul a planter like this is a big job that would require a crane or something to lift it onto a trailer. It would have to be folded out and the pole taken off. ...
