How to get voicemail notifications on android.
I use Google Voice and always have for my VM, but ATT insists on telling me there is no voicemails in the dropdown. I can't remove it. Rebooting the phone does nothing and even resetting to factory defaults doesn't work. I've tried calling to clear all of them, but there are quite a few and I'd rather not clear each one one-by-one.

This is an addition to my just posted reply. I just left a voice mail on my wife's identical phone (purchased at the same time/place) and her phone also does NOT show the red dot with new voice mail. The it does buzz when one is left, shows a missed call dot, and the notification bar shows a new e-mail, but NO red dot on the green voice mail icon.
