Sophia Learning. Hello, I see a lot of people taking Sophia classes, and wanted to out out a warning for you guys. If you take Sophia for classes such as algebra, statistics, biology, and so on ONLY SNHU will honor those credits. If for example you transfer to a different university, or go to grad school they will make you retake those credits.We would like to show you a description here but the site won’t allow us.To be fair, SNHU lets you transfer in credits at any time, so it doesn't really matter when you transfer them in unless one of the Sophia courses you took is a prerequisite for a course you want to take your first term. If you're just waiting to avoid the $5 fee then I'm pretty sure you can send Sophia transcripts through Credly instead for free.

Before starting SNHU, when I was diligent about working on Sophia, I could complete a course in a week while working full time (48 hours a week) with little effect on my social life. Go to a website on your son's college that states what courses they accept from Sophia. My college, SNHU, has a website called view experiences that state the name of the Sophia learning course and the equivalent SNHU course that you will get credited with upon passing that particular Sophia learning course.I took a little time off work and did basically nothing at all but Sophia. Some of the easier classes, like the two you mentioned, I think I probably finished in a day. There are some that are more challenging subjects or have essays, so those naturally take longer to complete.
