Probably put about 900 rounds thru it so far. The manuals for each pistol explain the proper engagement of the safety. Reading the manual carefully is always advised when first owning ANY gun. Use authentic parts, troubleshoot. Broken Front Sight. Upgrading the front sight. Gripping Issues. Upgrading to the rubber grip. 1. Barrel Cylinder Alignment Issues. It is a severe manufacturing problem for the Ruger company. Rugers can sometimes be 'in the rough' when the first are getting broken-in...if you have some fine-grit sandpaper (400-600+) maybe try to smooth it out a bit and see how it goes.Be sure the Guide Rod and Spring are facing in the right direction. (Check your Manual as the guys have suggested and showed the Video, 3.
