Kimber micro 9 vs sig p938.
My first CCW weapon was a Sig P938. Still love that weapon, I’m well over 10K rounds through it, have had to replace the main spring now but otherwise good shooter and flawless. My -second- CCW was a Kimber Micro 9 with a laser built into the grip, a Cabela’s special I think. It’s had far fewer rounds through it, maybe 3-4K.

Went to the range today and put 100 rounds thru the P938 using the Kimber 8 round mags. All three I had feed and functioned just fine and locked the slide back everytime. I used hertiers 115gr 9mm FMJ. When I get some hollow points for this gun I will give that a try with the 8 round magazines.Jun 27, 2020 · I read that a Micro 9 will fit in any 938 specific holster. I put it through its paces today and it performed flawlessly. There was one minor hiccup however. When the magazine is emptied, the slide release will not work with the empty magazine in the pistol.

I have four of those design now. That large pinky extension is decent for shooting but obtrusive for daily CC. The Sig or Kimber 7 rds are much better designed for CC. Also, CCDN runs $19.99 specials on the Colt 7 rd Mustang mag from time to time. I grabbed three for about the retail price of one Sig 7 rd mag.
