I just want a way to leave the van while it's running, and lock the doors via the lock button. I know of 2 workarounds, both annoying. Workaround 1, shut off the van pull out the remote, remote start the van. Adding a 2 watt solar panel to offset battery drain (didn't help at night with no sun). Looked at numerous parasitic drain troubleshooting videos.
