I shot my Firefly yesterday and for the 1st time had an issue, it would go into battery after about 75-100 rnds. I believe I forgot to lube the gun last cleaning. The 1911 shot fine. At some point in the travel is when the decocker does it's work. It will move without resistance until the actual decock. You will feel the contact and resistance.
