My problem is with an unloaded magazine in the gun if I pull the slide all the way to open locked position I can't close slide. It won't release by pushing the slide stop lever or pulling back a little more on the slide and releasing.

1. The serial numbers wont match. 2. I am worried that the finish on my G43 slide wont be as nice as a new G43X. 3. The front slide serrations are not there. I really like the look of them on the G43X. 4. The G43 slide is not beveled so it wont match the new G43X frame I'm getting.

Check out post #775 on this thread discussing the shape of the mag catch. Post 804 here claims it is a magazine issue. In either case, the issue is an easy fix and takes less than 5 minutes. -Slightly bevel the bottom edge of the mag catch with some sandpaper or a fine file. I put a slight bevel on the mag as well.
