You should not take Concerta if you have: glaucoma; severe high blood pressure or a heart problem; overactive thyroid; Vyvanse worked for say 3-4 hours for me. Was intense and honestly unpleasant. Concerta works all day. Being paranoid about just taking what you're prescribed helps. I also take it as prescribed since I'm intellectually lazy, can't imagine a good reason to change it, aside from the occasional stimulant free day.
