Having at least 1 bars for every 20k cap in the base values will help you a lot since the best ay to clear challenges is with very short rebirths chained. Between faster respawn, 1-shotting and a higher drop chance bonus it's not unusual to be able to get an item to level 100 in a few minutes for example (a bit longer with titans of course but a few days of auto-kills usually are enough as well). So don't worry too much even if you threw away a "valuable" item. #3.
