We made a raised garden bed on an uneven surface. We were inspired because we wanted to eat healthier. We created a square frame at first then added shims to level it. After holding up the frame with shims, we nailed in more boards on the inside to keep the outer board level and rest the entire structure on the inner board.Raised beds are usually open on the bottom, so the plant roots can access soil nutrients below ground level.
