Malenia staggers easily. You need to be aggressive on her normal attacks, as you will likely stagger her out of it. You can poise break her within 2 to 3 jumping attack, and you can riposte for big damage. There are several attacks that cannot be stagger. So it was a juggle, but I did it - thank you all! Stuck on Malenia (like a lot of people I imagine). To get to Malenia, you need both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion. You can find one half in the Village of the Albinaurics in Liurnia, and the other in Castle Sol in Mountaintops of the Giants. Malenia does the first WFD at 70% health, then at 50% (this is a can/cannot, depends on your damage output), then at 30%. If your damage output was high enough that she couldn't do it at 70%, then she did the 70% one at 50%.
