I have a 1997 Chevy K1500 Suburban, with a new L31-R Crate engine and rebuilt 4l60e. I did a 0411 PCM Swap to add efans and tune for the cam and headers. I used a 0411 PCM from a 2002 GMC Savana 2500 with the 5.7l and a 4l80. I did a segment swap from a Chevy Express 1500 with the 5.7l and a 4L60. 12200411 PCM swap for 1996 to 2000 GMT400 trucks. Since we have a new 96 up Vortec subsection, I thought I would make a new post. The 12200411 PCM can be installed into the 96 to 2000 GMT400 trucks simply by repining the PCM connector terminals. The wiring is slightly different between the 96, 97, and 98 to 2000 trucks.

I never had to change the wiring after swapping over to the 0411. Have to do a segment swap and mess with the sender range in hptuners. Also make sure that the pin isn't pushing out when you put the connector on the pcm. I had that happen already. I had to go back and move a few pins due to them being in the wrong spot on the connectors ...You have to license the tune that you want to use and you have to license the PCM. The only way to use the segment swap feature is if the tune on the PCM is the same OS as the tune you want to use.
